This one is particularly hard on my heart. There are certain people you meet, and you take an immediate liking to them, and Larry was certainly one of those men. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person too.
I received this a few days ago, but it was very upsetting and I have to admit I put it on the back-burner for a few days.
I just sent a response to his dear daughter, and wanted to share this with all of you.

I know these messages are coming all too often. My dad, Laurence Babine, passed away yesterday, December 23rd. He had a major stroke on 12/9 and planned on several weeks of rehab at the same nursing home where my mother is. With an ironic twist of life, after being apart for the past year, they had a week together as roommates. He struggled these last 2 weeks; as my husband said, he sure was rugged.
