Scenes from yesterday's 81st anniversary remembrance services for the Battle of Exercise Tiger in Mexico, Missouri. The one-of-a-kind Missouri Exercise Tiger Army and Navy Anchor Memorial is located on the grounds of the Audrain County Courthouse in Mexico. Honor guard and color guard was provided by members of; V.F.W. posts #3772 (Mexico, MO), #6276 (Centralia, MO) and American Legion posts #510 (Laddonia, MO), #113 (Centralia, MO). Flying on the courthouse flagpole just for this service was an actual WWII battle flag from a Navy LST.
