Hi Marion:
Dad's name is: John Beaudry.I have an interview that one of my sons had performed as a class project just days before he passed. I will scan and send to you in the next few days. It was interesting to me to find out things he never talked about ever before the time of the interview. This will give you more of a background of him.
Just recently found a newspaper from Knoxville Tenn. about his unit in 1941. It had his picture in a jeep (with 3 other guys) and also sitting around a table. The article was continued on page 4 (which I did not have). Contacted the newspaper recently to see if they have an archives to get a copy. It will be interesting to see what becomes of it! I also forgot to mention that we we fortunate to be able to take Dad to the WWII monument dedication in Washington DC. We had the local newspaper interview him in DC during the dedication. That trip was one of the highlights of my life! I sure miss him so much.
