I can't say I disagree with either of you on this subject. Thought it would bring up some good discussion. It's more Monday morning quarterbacking.
Yes there were many SNAFUS made during the war and if we could sit back and analyze each battle of the war, I'm sure we could come up with better tactics, but the past is past and many of the generals at the time thought they were doing the best things possible for the whole war picture.
