Nice info. I recently interviewed a B-24 crewmember and he told me a lot of details like this.
Another pilot, a ferry pilot, said he "fired" one of his crewmembers. He caught him smoking at altitude. He would take his Oxygen mask off and hold the cigarette in front of it and try to light it with the mask pumping Oxygen. |
