Dear Stephanie:

I am very glad to hear from you. Sorry to hear about your vision problems. There is no need to apologize for any reason. After all I am used to using large bold type because many of my contacts are over 80 and don't have the best eyesight either. So bigger is better.

I hope you have found some of the links on my site regarding the great 82nd. My dad's unit was in direct support of the 82nd in Sicily in 1943. I have a lot of admiration for the men of this unit too. I will list the links here for you again, since the font on my Links Page may be too small for you to easily read.

I am so sorry to hear that your uncle was killed during in Belgium. How sad that you never got to know him. I admire you for your interest in your uncle and his WWII history. I'm sure he is smiling down from heaven along with my dad. It is up to folks like us to keep their spirits alive.

I will post the information on my forum in the hope that someone may recognize him name and contact either you or I. I have had a great deal of success in hooking up people with one another and who knows, maybe you will be one of them.

Please feel free to keep in contact and maybe we can complete a page for your uncle. It would be my honor.

Warmest regards,
