I wrote to Stephanie yesterday after receiving a direct inquiry from her regarding her uncle. Shelton, I believe, was a member of Ernest Murphy's platoon of H Company, and was one of six H Co. men killed on the road to Petite Halleaux on 7JAN45 when a TD that was near them hit a mine and blew up. This is described in Maggie's book on page 211.
