The 23rd Headquarters Special Troops

During Oct. 44 in Luxemburg I was doing the replacement shuffle. While in a smaller town I saw several GIs with strange patchs on clean ODs trying to be obvious. At the time I could not unserdtand what they were doing. After reading about this unit I can see why they wanted to be obvious. if they were trying to look like a Division unit.That was supposed to be in the area. |
