The 23rd Headquarters Special Troops

Martin: In the museum at Deikirch you can find references to my brothers unit: The 159th Combat Engr. Bn. This unit helped the 4th ID hold the southern Flank of the Bulge. My brother Ken was wounded in action 19 Dec. 44. He helped hold hill 333 until he was Med evaced to England.
I am proud of His service and his buddies who served as Infantry many times in Europe. |
