This was the post from 2003, but it's still carrying on...
A living History. The WW-II tactical reenactment of the BOB will be presented by 'THE FEDERATION', at Ft. Indiantown Gap, outside Harrisburg, PA Jan.21-26, 2003. Admission and attendance is by advanced registration through the FEDERATION, and there is a cut-off date. The event which is 6 days this year, will include a veteran's recognition. The 1.000 young men and women re-enactors representing American, British, Canadian, Scotch, Australian, and German troops in authentic and reproduction uniforms with authentic equipment and weapons live and adopt the rigors of their respective countrys in the original WW-II barracks at the Fort. The several flea markets on the post are busy daily with the reenactors bartering, selling and buying varied types of clothing, apparell, equipment and accessories pertinent to the engaged troops during the battle. The "battle scenario" beginning at 9:00am Saturday is open to the public. A dinner and evening of "peiod entertainment" closes out the week.Inquiries should be made to : Dave Shaw,(724)627-8545 or e-mail; Dave@ww-iifederation.org ...or...Drew@ww-iifederation.org
