That's disturbing. Surely they could have found something else for that kid to do...

I agree Brooke.....You can't fit a square peg into a round hole. I feel very sorry for this kid. I understand the Army's need to create a deterrant to desertion, but Pvt. Slovik should never have been allowed into the military in the first place.
