I have been away from home for a week and just returned and saw your latest postings .This is wonderful news . Have you confirmed that Anthony Timmers is the son of Edward Timmers ? I assume so . Has Bas determined if Edward and Anthony are decendants of the members of his family who emigrated to Canada and later to USA?

Thank you both for this most interesting information .

Bas,

It is good to hear from you and learn that you have established contact with Edward Timmers' son .I know your contact has been very meaningful to both of you .Communicating with him could lead to information that he is a decendent of your family in Holland or Germany .

My family also immigrated to United States from Germany around 1750 and settled in South Carolina .Using the internet and family records, I have been able to trace my family back to the original immigrants but have been unable to locate any of my family in Germany .

Thank you again for this very interesting story.
