Here's an EXCELLENT article by a professor named Michael Moore. This was shared with my by my vet friend, Dave Wagner.

Ha-Raar! You made my day---just wish it was easier to read.

THAT is what motivated me to start my website on the Italian Campaign. Sometimes I may seem a little arrogant when it comes to talking about the Italian Campaign---like I know it all. I'm just trying to stamp out Ignorance---spelled with a capitol "I".

So, if I get too pushy, Marion, just rein me in some. :coffee:

I put that there ESPECIALLY for you STEVE! B) I knew that if anyone could appreciate it, you could. In fact, I am going to send you a copy of it later today if possible. I am going to see if I can contact Mr Moore and get a better copy too.

Oh no you don't seem arrogant. I am happy that you DO have an interest in all the men like my dad who basically ARE forgotten. As people come to rely on your expertise, so shall they come to rely on me for engineering info from WWII. I like you do pride myself on that and there is nothing wrong with it.

If you were acting snooty and snobbish, it would be a different story. Your availability and your willingness to share things with us, makes you indispensable as far as I'm concerned.

Have you noticed that the quality and quantity of WWII material has recently soared on this forum? That is what I am looking for. It's just great. Thanks to people like you and Stevin and others (wish I could name everyone) for taking the time to post here. Three cheers to all of you for making this site a top quality site. I am so happy and so proud that I am attracting folks like you to VI Corps. :pdt34::pdt34:

I'll still take ya up on the cup of :coffee:
