My name is Patricia D. Towry Larson. My mother is Darlene Elaine Stoop Towry, she is the daughter of Pauline Snodgrass. Pauline Snodgrass is the sister to your grandfather Vernon Snodgrass. Funny you should mention Camp (now Fort) Wolters. When I was a reservist in Ft. Worth our squadron, MWSS-471, went out there to do rifle qualification one weekend (around 1996 or 7). There wasn't much there, but I didn't know much of the history. All I was told that it was a hoppin' helicopter base in the 60s during Vietnam. Looking around online, I've found a lot of info on it:

Wow, I will ask him. I just saw that. The name is very uncommon, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were brothers or cousins. Let me look into it.
