Marion that was totally fascinating! To see and hear that ex-Spitfire pilot describing what happened to him and then see the look on his face when they showed him the film was very emotional. What made it even more special to me was that his old base at Mount Farm is not too many miles from where I live. If ever there was an illustration of the 'special relationship' between the USA and the UK this is it. I salute him for the big contibution he and his comrades made to the wining of WW2.

Nice commentary Colin. Yes, the whole thing was quite amazing and you are correct, it truly shows the special relationship between the UK and the States during the entire war.
The look on his face was priceless and when they asked if he wanted to see it again...
