Do you ever feel like we're about the only two people on the forum???

That's why I like this more than Facebook. You can search for topics and the subjects are organized. I don't use FB (it's from the DEVIL!!) but I do Google plus for WWII and modeling subjects. It annoys me how things just disappear down the memory hole of the thread.
Oh you and me both. Facebook could never take the place of a real message board. Several of my friends use it as such and it's a real pain. As you said, it just disappears down a drain hole. Facebook works well to communicate with my Alger Park and Rec board members - "Hey guys, don't forget to bring such and such to the meeting tonight..."
It works well as a basic storefront - people can see what you do, or where you are located, etc.
I had a VI Corps presence on FB until a few weeks ago, then I pulled the plug. Why am I posting in both places? Plus, when I did post something, it got lost in the shuffle. If I wanted to add something to an ongoing post, I had to scroll through dozens and dozens of topics just to find it again (if I could). So I had to stop and ask myself, why am I bothering? I hate the format and I already have a website and forum that works splendidly.
LOL! Guess we got a little off-topic but that's okay. At least we are communicating!
