Lennon: Vera Lynn was one of my favorites and have almost all of these songs on my

computer and disk or/and tape. the "nightengales sang in berkely square" I didnt have

though. But I now have it thanks to you . Many thanks from a old U.S. WW 2 vet.

She was admired in the U.S. as much as in England.

One of the best singers indeed.

I like her songs a lot (getting misty eyes by some, but don't tell anyone).

 

At least in those days they knew how to sing without the digital alterations they're using today to make 'em sound better. :rolleyes:
