Actually St. Pauls was the recipient of some small incindiary bombs, but they were all either extinguished or tossed to the ground below by the brave Brits assigned to the cathedral on fire crews, along with the priest. Great dramatization/documentary recently called "The Blitz" covers it in detail. Gotta love the people of London 1940!
