Hello John,

I managed to find a new unknown Seahorse picture taken in the area of Vesoul, around September 44.

Hope you enjoy it!

Kind regards Gilles

And here is another...

This is what Captain John Fallon said about this photo:

The men are from my platoon. They were sent to the port to pick up a new 57MM AT gun to replace the useless 37MM . I don't remember or recognize most of the men but the man crouching on the left is Sgt Laucks who was a fine weapons specialist. He died just over a year ago. I am too old to remember his first name right now but I will think of it. The picture was taken in the port and was a posed picture for a Life Magazine photographer. Most Army guys could never figure out why we had so many Infantry weapons throughout the war unless they knew were about 60-65% Infantry . WE had mortars and BARS just like the Infantry.

Just remembered I had the back side of photo too, so here we are...

Those are great action pics and one consequence of my visit to Lebanon PA means I now recognise the Seahorse patch!

Colin.

Yeah, now it will never escape you. We have to work on getting more people to the reunions, so they also recognize "our boys"! Thanks for your reply.
