Hello. My name is Matt Snyder. My grandfather was Sgt Maj William Snyder. He was in the army 51-71 and served in the 10th Engineer Battalion. I'm trying to find out information on his service. Projects he worked on , things he was a part of etc. I was wondering if you could help me find out where to find this information or where I could start. Or even better if you had any experience with him or his unit.
I also want to apoloize ahead of time, if some of my terms are not correct. I have cerebral palsy and so was never able to serve myself. Thank you.

Happy New Year everyone,
My Grandfather served in the 2756th Combat Engineers, Company A. He enlisted in April of 1942, and was honorably discharged in June 1946. I have his discharge paperwork and medals, ribbons, etc. However, his file was among those burned in the fire in St.Louis. I am trying to get in contact with someone at the Rhode Island VA to try to get a picture of what he went through but that is slow moving. Family stories say that he saw/experienced many awful things during the war. He did not talk about what he went through and I was never able to meet him because he passed away before I was born. He has the European/African/Middle Eastern Service Ribbon among others. If anyone has any information about this unit, I would be very grateful.

Hi!
I am hoping someone might be able to help me. I am looking for any information, memories and, if possible, a photograph of my Grandfather Earl Arnold Brady. As far as I'm able to ascertain he joined the US Army in 1941 and found himself in Company B of the 202nd Combat Engineers. He was for a time stationed in or around the environs of the town of Helensburgh in Scotland for a period during the war.
Unfortunately, Earl passed away in the 1950s and my mother has very little memory of him. It would be great if I could find out a little about his involvement in the war.
As I said, I know very little about him but if anyone has any questions regarding him I will try my best to answer them.
Kind Regards
Scott
