I had never heard the entire story of Sen. Daniel Inouye before. Talk about courage under fire! The entire 100-442nd has quite a war record. I also saw a story this morning about a little known group of Chinese Canadians who distinguished themselves when they were finally allowed to serve in the Canadian Army. PS- Please don't anybody write to tell me that the 442nd were Japanese, not Chinese. I know that already! I just mentioned the Canadian story because of the similarities in the way they had to prove themselves. :lol:
