Hello all, after a long time I'm here again...
A friend of mine recently found a dog-tag and is looking for information and contacts with relatives.
R. Newell Benson 39689674.
On Fold3 I found that likely the veteran died in 2003....
Thanks in advance for the help

This is a little late but, I figured it was worth mentioning here for those who may not know...
Col.(then Capt.) Charles P. Murray, Jr. passed away August 12th, 2011 in Columbia, South Carolina of congestive heart failure. He was 89.
Col. Murray was a great man and a dear friend to the U.S. 3rd Division Living History Company here in Savannah. This fine gentlemen was a great patriot and proud and humble of the award he received for his actions during WWII.
I had the honor to meet Col. Murray in 2004 at the 85th Annual Reunion of the U.S. 3rd Infantry Division. He was just truly a wonderful man.
May his family be in your prayers...
Regards,
MARNE
